The Borough of Pitman Public Works is hiring a full-time driver laborer for their Public Works Road Department. Candidates must be able to obtain CDL B license per condition pf permanent employment. The following duties are expected but not limited to: DPW yard maintenance, garbage and recycling collection, brush collection, weed whacking, grass cutting, tree trimming, tree removal, catch basin maintenance, leaf collection, snow removal, road maintenance, and building maintenance. Mandatory background check including criminal history, drug / alcohol pre-employment testing, physical exam, driving, and previous employment history will be conducted. Working knowledge of tools and landscape equipment used to perform manual and skilled unskilled tasks. Ability to follow safety precautions in operation of tools and equipment.
