Elite Dribbling Academy (New Program)

This basketball program is focused on dribbling techniques and skills for serious youth basketball players. This program will teach and reinforce the importance of handling a basketball using both hands with the purpose of creating space to shoot, pass, or attack the basket. LIMITED SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE...This program is limited to the first 10 registraints. This program is for incoming 3rd - 4th graders.
Fun and Fundamentals Summer Basketball (New Program)

This 5 week program is for all 4th - 6th grade boys and girls looking to improve on their basketball skills. Each session will focus on developing the player through multiple games and gameplay scenarios that best replicate the game. Program instructor, Mr. Steve Gangloff, 10+ years of high school/college coaching experience, will run each session. Rising 4th - 6th Grade Summer Basketball (New Program!)Click here for registration form
The Pitman Recreation Department is hosting a basketball camp for rising 4th - 6th graders looking to improve their game and have fun while doing so. Our camp will be run by coach Steve Gangloff, 10+ years of High School/College coaching, and long-time Pitman educator. This program is designed to elevate your child's game through skill work and gameplay and is for ALL LEVELS of play.

This skill based clinic is for 6th-12th graders, and provides training in the fundamentals of field hockey, with small-sided games.

The summer tennis program is for K-12th graders who are looking to either be introduced to the game, or are looking to sharpen their skills. This program is essentially a 6 week program focused on establishing good fundamentals in a fun atmosphere..

All children from Pitman currently in Kindergarten through Fifth grade or children who will be in K in the fall of 2023. Please provide a copy of your child's birth certificate if your child is in the kindergarten program.
Summer Band

This year’s band program will consist of 6th-12th grade students. All students enrolled will receive both small and large group instruction on their chosen instrument. Students must provide their own instrument. Please read the registration form for

A local sustainability education program for children aged 5-8 years old that inspires exploration, curiosity, & leadership.

Each session will begin with a quick “lesson of the day” ranging from baiting your hook, to proper casting techniques. Then, participants will “fish as they wish” attempting to accumulate as many fish as they can. Points will be tallied each week and league numbers will be recorded. Prizes will be distributed at our final meeting July 19. Please click on the registration form for more details.
