Borough offices will be closed on September 4 for the Labor Day holiday.  Trash, recycling, and bulk collection will take place the day after the normal collection day for residents and businesses in the Borough.  We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!



Borough of Pitman Frontline Overnight Parking Website
The Gloucester County Emergency Response Center, cooperatively with the Borough of Pitman, are initiating an online overnight parking portal which offers residents and visitors a concise and efficient approach to submit and register overnight parking requests. Web-Base overnight parking requests can now be submitted electronically by clicking here.


Mark Your Calendar!!

The Borough's Senior Citizen Outreach Committee will host an Information Fair on September 27, 2017.  This event will take place between 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Pitman United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Broadway and Lambs Road. Valuable information helpful to our Senior Citizen residents will be available, with representatives from the Borough there to share their knowledge and assist with any questions or concerns you may have about Borough services.  Family members are welcome!  We look forward to seeing you!  

Pitman is located in Gloucester County, New Jersey. It is approximately 17 miles southeast of Philadelphia. It is one mile from Rowan University in Glassboro. Pitman has an area of 2.3 square miles and a population of 9,365. The Borough has 13 churches, three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.
