All Municipal Budget Meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m., and will be held in the Conference Room in Borough Hall, located at 110 S. Broadway, in Pitman, NJ.
Action may be taken.
2017 Dog and Cat Licenses
Starting in January, to obtain a pet license, please bring proof of rabies vaccination (must be current to November 1st of 2017), spay/neuter certificate, and last year’s license, if available.
Licenses may be purchased at the Municipal Building,
110 S. Broadway, during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
A late fee of $10.00 per pet will be charged after March 31, 2017.

Pitman is located in Gloucester County, New Jersey. It is approximately 17 miles southeast of Philadelphia. It is one mile from Rowan University in Glassboro. Pitman has an area of 2.3 square miles and a population of 9,365. The Borough has 13 churches, three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.

OUR MISSION: To provide the highest level of service to the residents of Pitman while maintaining the community’s infrastructure in the most cost-effective manner possible. We provide essential services in the areas of drinking water, sanitary and storm sewer maintenance, trash, recycling and yard waste collection, streets, buildings, grounds and vehicle maintenance. We continually strive to improve our services by incorporating new technology, employee involvement, improved customer service and new ideas to effectively maintain our service oriented department.
